Measure the height

Cost Comparison
RTA Cabinets vs. Custom Cabinets
One of the main advantages of RTA cabinets is their affordability compared to custom cabinets
RTA Cabinets
Material costs
RTA cabinets are typically made of solid wood or plywood, providing high-quality construction at a lower price point
Labor costs
RTA cabinets are designed to be assembled and installed by homeowners, eliminating the need for professional labor
Installation costs
Since RTA cabinets can be installed by homeowners, there are no additional installation costs
Design and customization
RTA cabinets, while limited in customization options, still offer a wide range of styles and finishes to choose from
Custom Cabinets
Material costs
Custom cabinets, on the other hand, often use premium materials and may include additional features such as soft-close hinges or dovetail joints, which can significantly increase the cost
Labor costs
Custom cabinets, on the other hand, require skilled craftsmen to build and install them, adding to the overall cost
Installation costs
Custom cabinets, however, often require professional installation, which can be a significant expense
Design and customization
Custom cabinets offer the advantage of unlimited design options and customization. However, these additional design features come at a cost

Hands down it’s white shaker kitchen cabinets. White shaker cabinetry is a great choice for those looking to modernize and freshen up their space. It is versatile, bright, and creates a stunning look in any style of kitchen.
RTA stands for “Ready to Assemble”. RTA Cabinets are known for their quality, affordability and ease of use. The RTA cabinets listed on our website are all KCMA Certified, solid plywood with full overlay and soft close features. Shipping is considerably less than assembled cabinets and assembly is easy, making them much more affordable than the earlier traditional cabinet and vanity products.
Yes, they can and they do every day! While we offer how-to videos on our website, we can also give you helpful tips, as needed.
Besides the obvious which is that pre-assembled cabinets come shipped to you fully assembled and ready for installation, there is absolutely no difference in quality. Due to the extra labor involved in assembling your cabinets and extra cost to ship them, your overall price will be around 20%+ more than RTA cabinets depending on your location and the size of your order.
Aside from our stellar customer service, our RTA cabinets are up to 40% less expensive than Big Box stores (and other pre-assembled cabinets up to 30% less), for a more solidly-built product. Other features our cabinets have, that very often big-box-store cabinets do not, are adjustable shelving and deep drawers.
In many instances our cabinetry quality can be significantly higher than custom cabinetry. Often custom cabinet makers spray finishes on their cabinets in small shops in an uncontrolled environment, rather than a high-end finishing facility like our cabinets. This means the finish on our cabinetry is often MUCH better, and smoother. It’s true that custom cabinetry gives you a wider variety of choices but they also take a lot longer to build and have a higher price tag. Due to our cabinets being built in a factory, they are sturdy and well engineered with high-quality standards. Simply put, Walcraft cabinets are built to last.
Yes, the cabinet doors, drawer fronts and face frames are constructed using ¾” hardwoods that are chosen for their lasting durability.
There is absolutely no particleboard contained in our cabinetry. We do not compromise on quality nor work with manufacturers who do. Particle board is a compromise.
Since solid wood tends to expand or contract over time, it can cause small cracks in door joints. Using MDF in the center panel avoids or minimizes wood expansion or contraction, leaving your cabinets structurally sound for many years.
